We are just back from the Salvation Army Fashion Show and luncheon at the Fairmont Hotel. KU-DO's to ALL but especially to Mary Lee Cox who co-chaired the silent auction and to Jan Strimple for putting on an elegant, dramatic and jaw dropping fashion show. Example.. the fashion show ended with a dramatic slow walk down the runway, six models in couture black in Oscar De La Renta, Dolce, and custom made to die for opera coats, gloves and “out on the town” glam. Then a model in a vintage custom made ivory wedding gown holding a purple stem of orchids, walks down the aisle looking like the queen of EVERYTHING. Amazing!
We all walked away with goodies from the Chic Boutique too. Ladies, put this one on your "do attend" list for NEXT year and we will see you there. Pat and Emmet Smith were emcee's and delighted the crowd (we were all hoping Emmet would take a spin down the runway aka Dancing with the Stars but alas not to be...:)
All the best,
Julie
